Paint protection film has become more popular over the last few years, especially with the increased costs of vehicles and the decrease in paintwork quality making it more prone to stone chips and defects. This has seen the quality of PPF also grow over the years, now offering enhanced gloss, self-healing and extended durability. The technology behind achieving a more durable, self-healing and invisible looking finish has also forced installers to up their game in terms of patterns and fitment to achieve that invisible fitment with wrapped edges where possible.

Here at ShropShine we invested time to find an installer that could offer the best quality fitment and material. So, we use James from Tough Films Ltd, whom is time served and specialises solely in PPF. We have used James for over 5 years now and each fitment has been amazing, and every customer has commented on the level of fitment and finish. With some asking if we had actually applied it, as James will extend patterns or bulk fit to get the best fitment possible. This is why so many detailers up and down the UK and in Europe will use James for their PPF fitment also.

We offer a PPF fitment only and packages including coatings, depending on your needs and requirements. We can supply PPF in a gloss, Satin, matte and also coloured finish. If your paintwork has a gloss finish, we can apply a satin PPF to give it a frozen/Satin finish.

The level off PPF packages we offer are as follows, the costs show PPF only or our full PPF and coating package. All packages include a full decontamination and machine polishing on the panels having PPF/Coatings applied, then a standard interior valet. All prices above are PLUS VAT and your first reload detail and inspection will be free of charge. We also advise to return to us after 4 weeks for an inspection.

To maintain the warranty your vehicle will require a 6 -12 month reload inspection/service dependent on vehicle mileage.

We recommend a 6 monthly reload application to maintain the coating and to help it perform to the best of its abilities and to achieve the durability. We can carry out this service from just £120 (6 Monthly). We can also supply you with instructions on how’s best to maintain your new vehicle and the coating. We also offer a 6 or 12 month maintenance package for weekly, fortnightly, 3 weekly or monthly valeting at reduced costs. Please speak to us to find out more.

Ceramic Coating Inspection & Reload Detail….. From £180

Our Ceramic reload detail is for vehicles that have had a ceramic coating and require a 6 or 12 monthly inspection and reload of its hydrophobic properties to maintain the coatings abilities and in most cases the warranty given with most Ceramics. Over time your ceramic coating can get clogged up with contamination like fallout and tar, the aim of this service is to decontaminate the coating then top up the hydrophobic coating.

All our ceramic coatings come with a warranty here at Shropshine Detailing but your vehicle will require a 6 or 12 monthly (coating & mileage dependent) inspection and reload service to keep this valid. We suggest to have this done every 7-8k miles or at least annually.

The aim is to decontaminate the coating and restore the self cleaning properties, this will then help expand the coatings lifespan and keep it performing and your vehicle looking like the day it was coated. For this we use a special shampoo and top up product from Feynlab or Wax is Dead, both have ceramic properties that will chemically bond to the top surface of your coating.

The aim of this service is to stay on top of your vehicles protection, once decontaminated we can check all the surfaces coating performance. If we see a coating starting to fail or require a top up this is carried out on this package.

This package includes:

– Citrus pre-wash, snow foam dwell

– 3 bucket safe wash

– Wheel arch & full wheel clean (inc fallout/tar removal)

– Chemical Tar spot removal & fallout removal treatment

– Door/Boot shuts and engine bay clean
